The main event in January/February is Carnival Tangomania - a community directed,
joint action of the milonga organizers in Budapest with the goal to
have lots of fun at milongas and activate the beginner dancers.
The rules of Carnival Tangomania are simple: Attend any or all of the
Carnival Tangomania milongas and put your name on the entrance ticket.
Throw it into the Carnival Tangomania box. The winner is the person
who comes to the greatest number of milongas during the time of CT -
there are 19 allotogether! The winner gets free entrance for him/her
and a partner for all milongas in March. We have also special prizes
for 10 most active tangueros taking part in the Carnival Tangomania.

The milonga is held in the cafe of Urania Nemzeti Filmszinhaz (Urania National Cinema), on the second floor of the beautiful and stylish building.

The milonga is held in an elegant Feszek Restaurant - with one of the best wooden dancefloors in town and amazing acoustics.
